How it works:

To enable Pay‑as‑You‑Go:

1. Go to 'Credits & Billing' in the app menu
2. Click 'Pay‑as‑You‑Go'
3. Set your comfortable monthly spending cap
4. Approve with Shopify (authorization hold applies to this option only)

To buy more credits:

1. Same menu, choose 'Credit Bundles'
2. Pick your bundle size
3. Complete purchase through Shopify

To choose a subscription:

2. Select a plan with included credits

Lyros analyzes your product titles, descriptions, and images to suggest accurate, relevant tags. These tags power better on‑site search, filters, and collections. You can tweak, remove, or restore anytime.

Charges depend on the billing method you choose:

• Credits: Credits are deducted as you generate tags, SEO, or image alt text.
• Subscriptions: Your monthly plan includes credits; overage (if any) uses pay‑as‑you‑go if enabled.
• Pay‑as‑You‑Go: You’re billed monthly for actual generations, up to your spending cap.

All billing runs through Shopify and appears on your Shopify invoice.

Authorizations apply only to the Pay‑as‑You‑Go option. It’s a temporary Shopify hold (not a charge) that sets your spending cap. Credits and subscriptions don’t require an authorization.

This applies to Pay‑as‑You‑Go only. We place a buffered authorization to ensure your cap covers the work you request. You’re charged only for what’s actually generated, and the unused portion of the authorization is released by Shopify.

Start with 50 free credits—no commitment. If you enable Pay‑as‑You‑Go, Shopify asks for a billing authorization (a temporary hold, not a charge). You pay only for what you generate, and you always review before publishing.

Absolutely. You can queue bulk jobs for product tags, SEO titles & descriptions, and image alt text. Jobs run safely in the background with real‑time progress, and nothing is applied until you approve (unless you choose auto‑apply).

Yes. Lyros writes concise, accessible alt text using your product images and details. You can preview first or auto‑apply, set a target length, add brand guidelines, and process entire collections in bulk.

You’re always in control. Edit or remove individual tags, regenerate with a custom prompt, or click Restore to revert to your original tags in one step. Nothing overwrites until you approve.

Lyros respects your work. You can exclude already‑tagged products, add supplemental tags, or regenerate when needed. A restore option lets you revert to your original tags at any time.

Yes. Lyros generates content in the same language as your product details. Tags and SEO copy follow the product description, and image alt text follows the product title language. You can also set a preferred language in settings.

Yes. There are no long‑term commitments. Uninstall anytime in Shopify. Subscriptions can be cancelled at any time, and previously generated content remains on your products. You can return later and pick up where you left off.
